Kristina is very diligent about reminding me when I need to write a new blog post, and even though she’s not here to crack the whip, I am very aware that it’s been almost a week since my last missive. My bags are packed (brimming with great prints and posters and pochoirs and all kinds of vintage ephemera from my favorite sources), and I’m getting ready to head home after almost two weeks away. I love being here in Italy, but I am always excited to come home.
I’ve written before about how fortunate I feel to be able to live the life I do: I work with wonderful, talented, funny women (yes, it’s just girls at L’Affichiste), I get to travel frequently to places I love and where I feel comfortable, and I am surrounded by people I love and who love me. It really doesn’t get better than that. I’m grateful – VERY! – to Kristina for holding down the fort, I’m lucky that I got to share this trip with my son (who I adore), and I am looking forward to re-acquainting myself withmy dogs, my life and my home. Get ready Montreal – I’m on my way!
